Happy Wednesday y’all and guess who’s back to the site! I feel like I say it all of the time, but the last month has been genuinely nuts. One thing I’ve discovered with working in beauty is that every single new launch activation happens at once, so you’re constantly going from one event/key focus to another and it can get exhausting. I head to LA tomorrow bright and early for an event and then turn around and prep final logistics for an event in Dallas that I’ve been leading on, and THEN we have a little bit of breather room until mid-July and it’s almost like you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
WOW has a ton happened in the last month or what?! A few things to catch you up on that I haven’t really shared on the blog/instagram recently:
1. I hit my two year mark in New York on May 18th, where does the time go?! I was actually at my college roommates wedding in Tulsa the day of, but it’s so crazy to think that I’ve been doing the hustle and bustle for two years now! Wouldn’t trade it for the world.
2. I hit my one year mark at my job in beauty PR. If you remember, last year around May I left my job in fashion PR to pursue a new opportunity in beauty PR and I can’t imagine ever going back to fashion. The clients and work we do is so rewarding and I absolutely love it.
3. I’ve traveled to three different states in the last month! Tulsa for a wedding and some grandparents quality time, Dallas for Memorial Day for a gals lake trip, and Colorado to see Marshmello at Red Rocks and play around Denver and Boulder.
So while there’s been a ton going on, I’m ready to get back into sharing different content on the blog and feel a little more inspired than normal to do so. Today I’m sharing a long overdue spring dress that’s so easy for work on those warmer days! This striped number is loose fitting and so comfortable, and easily dressed up or down. I’m obsessed with the tangerine color to accentuate any tan you may get this summer. This white little Brahmin bag makes a gorgeous seasonal addition to your closet, and I’m obsessed with the texture of it! Lastly, these sandals have been my go-to recently. While the support isn’t walking-all-day-in-new york great, they are easy to throw in your bag and take to work with you. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
