Happy Tuesday y’all and happy summer in the city! Since summer officially hits this Thursday but the heat is definitely on in New York, I wanted to round up some of my favorite summer items that are either en route to my apartment or in my cart waiting for the next pay day to pull the trigger! A lot of these items would also make the perfect fourth of July getaway staples, and I’m actually headed to Mexico for close to a week so I’ll definitely be bringing these along.

One thing that I’ve recently been loving lately is jumpsuits. This particular white jumpsuit is just plain gorgeous, under $100 and perfect for summertime! I was recently googling and found that Saks Off Fifth carries a ton of Free People items for a fraction of the price, perfect if you’re on a budget like I am! I’m definitely picking up this jumpsuit for summer and vacation because it’ll still be great for work and weekends in the city.

When it comes to jewelry, I’ve really been a statement earring kind of gal over the last couple of years. Fun fact, I’m actually pretty allergic to some metals that aren’t sterling silver so I typically can’t even wear a statement heckle a full day at work. These fun red earrings are a perfect pop of color, and I wore these yellow tassel earrings this past weekend in Belmar.

When it comes to my summer nail color, I’ve been absolutely loving essie mint candy apple (lol hey J) for the last month or so. It’s a fun mint color that looks so cute on. I’m wanting to get my “claws” put back on soon and I think this will be the first color I test out with them.
