Happy Thursday y’all! I was looking at old photos the other day and noticed I used to wear such cute spring/summer shoes (before all of my feet issues), and became so nostalgic! So today’s post is rounding up some of my favorites that have me dreaming of days when we can dance around in heels and fun dresses again (preferably in New York).

I’m seeing a lot of similar trends from the previous years, so if you aren’t ready to spend on shoes you’re in luck with past styles you already own! I’m including a quick round up of trends and correlating shoes below! What typed of shoes are you looking for as we near summer? Would love to know your thoughts!

A few things I’ve noticed this year are animal print accents that spice up any sort of slide or heel. Squared toe shoes are everywhere this season! Super chic and trendy, but don’t think they’ll provide a ton of support so I would suggest keeping these in the low-spend. Holographic details are all over the place from strap details to holographic heels.

I’m mostly excited for the fun sneakers that are coming out from straw detailing to holographic accents. For someone like me who tends to prefer sneakers due to my lousy heels/veins, I’m pumped to see that sneakers are sticking to trends this year too! You’d be surprised how often I actually wear sneakers out over heels because it strains my heel so much, haha!
