Little Black Dress

There’s nothing better than a little black dress, every girl knows that. 
 My friend Caitlyn once told me that wearing a black dress is the best way to look like you know what you’re doing.

It’s sophisticated, elegant and timeless.

 Of course my little black dress always needs a little pop of color (or colors). 

 I usually go for pops of pink, but for this occasion I was feeling more colorful.


Adding colors is the easiest way to completely transform a look.
But a simple black dress with dainty jewelry is perfect, as well.
The J. Crew statement necklace, pink Jack Rogers and a turquoise Gigi New York clutch gave the look the perfect pop of color to keep it fresh and whimsical. 


This black dress from Curls and Pearls Boutique is too cute. It’s more of a midi dress on me (considering I’m practically 5’11”), but it’s still right on trend with all of the spring/summer midi skirts and dresses in stores lately! 


There’s a slit in the back, adding an additional element to the already loved little black dress. 


The versatility of this dress is unbelievable. Dress it down with flats and a simple necklace, or dress it up with fun heels or wedges and statement earrings. Add any color that suits you, and you’re ready to go!
