A Pop Of Pink

I am so happy to finally have my original domain back! It’s such a great feeling to finally be settled into my new blog server. I think I was more concerned with moving host sites than I was with moving across the country a month ago!

By now you should know that I am absolutely obsessed with all things pink-if you didn’t know then now you do! This neon pink blazer from Necessary Clothing is no exception! It’s bright  fluorescent fuchsia color makes it a show stopping piece, which can cause it to be difficult to wear. However, the summer grants multiple occasions where you can play around with this insanely neon piece. I’m a sucker for a black-white-pink combo, and I knew that I wanted to wear this blazer out on the town. Pairing it with my WalG London Fit and Flare Dress in a black and white pattern just seemed like a perfect fit. This dress adds a whole new element to the typical little black dress by adding a plunging v-neckline and back, as well as a grid style pattern on the top half of the dress. I’ve learned that patterns on the top half and solid colors on the bottom half are extremely, strategically flattering. The pattern brings your eyes up to focus on the persons face, while the solid color on the bottom looks slimming and less noticeable.  I’m working up the courage to rock this blazer with floral prints or even another neon, but you’ll definitely see it over a casual tee and boyfriend jeans! Like Mean Girls says “On Wednesday we wear pink!” 
Surprisingly, I am loving this mule trend lately! Retailers have done the impossible and they have made mules glamorous. I am currently coveting a pair of rhinestoned slides, but how amazing are these glitter wedge mules? They’re more subtle than the usual pair, which is great if you’re slowly easing into the trend! I’ve worn them to multiple places, and they’re easy to walk in and comfortable! How do you feel about the mule trend-love it or leave it? Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading!
