Happy Monday y’all! After the first weekend ‘officially’ in Norman with everyone I’m ready to get back into the swing of things with blogging! Now that I somewhat know how my schedule will be, it’s so much easier to find the time to get everything I need to done! I have about three weeks until my first round of tests roll around-heaven help me. The next month is going to be crazy. I’m going home for the holiday to go binge shopping with my mom, then next week I go to New York, and the next weekend is my best friends 21st birthday and the weekend after that we’re going to Austin for Austin City Limits music festival and then finally it’s OU/TX weekend! That was possibly the biggest run on sentence I’ve ever written, but you get the point!
Today I’m sharing two of my favorite staple pieces in my closet. This scallop skirt is all the rage in the blogger world right now, and I can definitely see why! It’s comfortable and super cute, and comes in different colors and patterns. I’ve always been a fan of scalloped things, but this is such a great skirt to throw on with anything for any occasion. It’s so easily dressed up or down and fits like a glove! The best part is it’s extremely affordable only being $45! I’ve posted this top in other colors before and it’s actually the ultimate staple piece. It’s comfortable and lightweight, and when I was taking pictures in this 90 degree heat I didn’t feel like I was going to melt into a puddle! I added a bright pink necklace to mix my favorite color combo together-pink and navy. My roommate Madeline found this necklace for me while she was studying abroad in Tanzania, Africa and I’m so obsessed with it! I love anything pink, but I love how it’s such a different statement piece from anything I own. You’ll definitely see this in lots of looks, I can’t get enough! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!

I love the skirt and sunnies! I had no idea you went to OU, my boyfriend is from Oklahoma and is a huge Sooners fan! He was born in Tulsa but his parents now live in Norman.
