Happy Wednesday y’all! Can you believe it’s already Wednesday?! I still can’t believe it’s already August! We’ve already started to go to dinner for our friends last meals/nights in the city that were just here for the summer interning, and I really feel like this is when everything will actually start to sink in that I’m not going back to Oklahoma for college. It’s such a bittersweet feeling, but I can’t wait to continue on with the city life (and of course stalk all of my friends still in schools picture from bid day and the first week back).

Today I’m sharing one of my most recent obsessions, this pink and purple dress. I had my eye on this dress back when I went to DC in June, but with the price being well over $120 I just couldn’t find the justification to spend that much. Low and behold, when my mom came to town we popped into anthro after spotting the “25% off sale” sign and as soon as I got a hint of this print I immediately sprinted towards it! It’s such a fun color and pattern, you can never go wrong with shades of pinks and purple in the summer. It has the most gorgeous flow and drop waist hem, and I love how it’s just a little bit longer than normal-especially if you’re a tall gal like I am and can’t ever seem to find anything to look appropriate anymore. The best part is this dress is an additional 25% off making the price under $100 and extremely reasonable to invest in! Since it’s a sheer fabric it’s super lightweight, and it comes with a built in slip so you don’t have to worry about finding one. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
