Happy Tuesday y’all! I’m back in the city after a weekend spent at home and I have so much to get done before I start work next week! And by “so much” I mean an accumulation of three months of laundry to do… oops. I went home to visit my parents for the weekend and was able to get lots of sleep and good food while in Houston, but when I was rushing to the airport yesterday (mainly to get there early so I could bring chips and queso to the city), I forgot my laptop at my parents condo! Since they live downtown on the weekends there was no way I could go back to grab it in time, luckily my mom is the greatest human ever and overnighted it to me (s/o to you mom, love ya)! My time away from civilization was minimal but I will definitely never do that again! I’m currently shopping for work bags and need one that will fit a laptop, does anyone have any recommendations?! I never want to be without it now!

Today I’m taking things super casual in this t-shirt dress from H&M. It’s beyond soft and so perfect to throw on and run errands, but I could dress it up for work with a relaxed blazer or moto jacket once it gets cooler. I love olive when it comes to transitioning to fall. It’s such a pretty color on everyone and is always one of my favorites.If olive isn’t your favorite color, this dress is also available in plenty more prints and colors to fit your preferences! I wanted to dress up this casual dress a little bit by adding one of my favorite statement necklaces that is also available in a collar style now! What do y’all think?
