Happy Tuesday y’all! I hope everyone is ready for another week! This week kicks off New York Fashion Week and this will be my first time attempting to attend and work it at the same time. It’s definitely going to be an intense week of learning how to balance/multitask, and stay awake all at the same time haha. I’m planning on taking advantage of lunch breaks for presentations and things, luckily my office is in a good spot on the west side to get to everything, and then the PR company I work for will be hosting some events which is so exciting to be able to see how everything comes together! I have friends that had to work over the weekend to help with things like castings and fittings, it’s insane how much work goes into the entire week.

Today I’m sharing one of my last summer-esque looks. My summer was filled with tons of running around the city where I obviously had to look presentable, but never wanted to dress up to the full extent like I would for work or going out. Dresses like this blush one have become such a key staple in my closet, and I always refer to them as throw-on-and-go pieces. They’re perfect for everything from early weekend brunches to errand running and grocery shopping. Usually I have plain t-shirt or shift dresses, but the twist on this slinky dress was too good to pass up. It has a criss-cross front so it’s right on trend, and the material is lightweight without being translucent since it is such a lighter color. Originally I planned on pairing it with booties but decided to go for a flatform sandal one last time before boots and booties take over my wardrobe. One thing I’ve been noticing is that blush is making an appearance for fall, so this will be the perfect transition dress while we still experience some warmer weather. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
