Happy Tuesday y’all and Happy December! Todday I’m sharing a peak into my Christmas home decor in my New York apartment now that it’s finally getting all set up! I’ve had my tree up for weeks, if I’m being honest, but what took longer to get together was what I call my “mantle” area, AKA my air conditioning unit. In my old apartment, my unit didn’t have anything on top of it so it was literally as if it was a mantle. This new apartment has an air vent for the heater, so I had to clarify with my Super that I could decorate on top of it beforehand!
I’ve used most of my old decor from my previous apartment, but what I think is so easy is to utilize small items like tree picks and candlesticks to add depth without spending a fortune. I use candle sticks and cake stands to elevate the decor and really just expand what I have. Since I wasn’t dying to buy a ton of stuff this year (hello credit card bill from Black Friday), I tried to really stretch what I could, where I could! What do y’all think?
