This may be one of my favorite outfits thus far. It’s edgier for me, but I think it’s so chic. I turned my acid-washed chambray top from Shop Hopes into a crop top simply by tying it (the key is to leave the last few buttons unbuttoned). I paired the top with my Anthropologie high-low maxi skirt for an unpredictable contrast. Tying the top keeps the look feeling like spring, but keeps me warm for the back-and-forth weather we’ve been having! This black maxi skirt has already been worn more than the majority of the things I have in my closet, and I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks! It’s a perfect staple item, and can be paired with so many different options. I already have a tribal print crop top to pair with it for a night out, or a plain white t-shirt that’s tied for a casual and comfortable look.
I purchased this BCBG necklace from Bloomingdale’s in Beverly Hills when I was in L.A. for LuckyFABB. Let me tell you, that necklace didn’t leave my neck all weekend! It’s such an amazing piece, and I love the pops of cobalt blue-which has been a huge color crush of mine this spring! This necklace is an easy way to incorporate a pop of blue into any outfit. For LuckyFABB I wore it with a fuchsia, drop-waist DVF dress, and it was fabulous if I do say so myself!
