I love this time of year because of all of the gorgeous wildflowers blooming! I remember the drive home after finals last year was the prettiest drive home with all of the spurts of yellow, red, purple and blue.

Being a Texan makes me partial to the bluebonnet, so of course I had to take advantage of the weather and get some pictures in the bluebonnet fields over by the boat. I love this red lace dress from Flourish Boutique. It’s Judith March, one of my favorites, and has turquoise underneath that peaks through the lace. Turquoise and red accent each other great, so this dress was beyond perfect. It has wider sleeves, and could easily be styled with a flower headband and long necklace for a boho vibe. It’s very lightweight and comfortable for the weather right now, compared to lace dresses that feel like they’re weighing you down. Since the dress had turquoise popping through the lace, I had to choose turquoise accessories. I picked a bold, multilayered, turquoise necklace to help bring out the turquoise in the dress from far away.
