Summer Brights

Can you believe that it’s already Monday? I feel like I completely skipped the weekend and still have two more days off. It’s crazy how fast time is flying! I only have 12 more days in the city (insert crying emoji here).

Last week I took a trip to the Brooklyn Bridge after work to snap these photos in this amazing dress from Skye on the Town, and I found a new favorite spot in the city. Depending on the time you go, it can be so serene on the bridge. I went last night to watch the sunset (seen on Instagram here), and it was a nice way to start my week. This stunning red number is one of my newest favorites. It’s a striking, bright color, a characteristic that I always admire, and is so perfect for summer. The criss-cross low back adds a bit of sass for date night or a night out with friends, and it’s easily dressed up or down. It’s lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh you down during those unbearable summer days where you just want to jump in a pool but have to go to work. I chose to play up the brightness of the dress with a multicolor necklace, neon earrings and a bright, embroidered clutch. My favorite thing about summer is playing with colors and this outfit has me wishing I was back in Mexico! Skye on the Town just launched their website, be sure to check out all of their amazing pieces!
