White and Navy

If you’re anything like me, you cherish your “casual” days.

You know, those days where you can throw on jeans and a t-shirt, pull your hair back and not worry about what the rest of the world thinks.

My “casual” days seem to happen everyday almost. Once I get off work and go to meet my friends for dinner, I change into the simplest thing in my closet. 

Which 99% of the time is boyfriend jeans.

This navy and white embellished top from Dex Clothing is perfect for those days where I want to look cute, but without putting much effort into it. 

The embellishments dress up the typical jeans-and-tee look, and it’s so lightweight that pairing it with jeans isn’t unbearably hot.

Although, it would also look adorable with a pair of cut off shorts and cowboy boots for the Fourth, or a different color pencil skirt for a pop of color.

Add some Kenneth Cole slides from Nordstrom Rack for an extra comfy feel, especially when walking around the uneven pavement in SoHo.

Gold feather earrings went perfectly with the feather print on the top, imagine that?

Although I love being overdressed everywhere I go, it’s nice to have these days where you can look and feel comfortable. I call it street-style-chic! What’s your favorite way to dress casual?
