Happy Wednesday y’all! It has been the craziest last few days. I left New York on Saturday, flew back to Houston and drove to Norman on Monday for bid day on Tuesday. My room in Norman is such a hot mess, and my actual bed isn’t schedule to be delivered for weeks… but when it’s delivered and I’m all settled in be on the look out for a virtual tour because I have big plans for it!

I am so in love with the overall trend this summer, but overalls aren’t exactly cute on me. I’m extremely long and have a hard time finding dresses and one pieces to fit me, so when I stumbled upon this lace overall dress in a boutique in Soho I knew immediately that it had to be mine. The delicate lace and midi length adds a feminine, almost elegant, touch. Anything that adds a feminine twist on a trend is always perfect for me! To play down the feminine vibe, I added an arm cuff and lace high-top sneakers to keep a bit of edge going since overalls are typically supposed to be edgier!

Dennis and I shot these photos at the Conservatory Gardens in Central Park! I love all of the green wrapped around the iron in the bridge area.
