Red and White

Happy Monday y’all! Today is the first day of shoe shows at the Marc Fisher Footwear office, and also the first day of my last week in New York (inserting every single crying emoji possible). But, on a bit of a brighter note I’m trying out a different look today from the usual feminine and flirty styles you may be used to on Kayleigh’s Kloset! 
I love a great casual look, but I honestly hate jeans possibly more than anything. I have a difficult time finding a pair that’s flattering for my body type, and they always always shrink in the wash! Usually when I think of a casual look I pick fun printed shorts or casual knit skirts, but jeans fit the bill for this casual day, especially with the cooler weather that we’ve been having in the city lately. These BDG high-waisted jeans are the only pair that I’m fond of, other than boyfriend jeans of course. A flowy, white, off-the-shoulder top was the perfect neutral pairing because I knew I wanted to accent this casual look with a bright red. 
Incase you were unaware, my school colors are crimson and cream (boomer sooner, y’all), and this clutch from Grateful bags meets the new size restrictions for bags in football stadiums! The red and white color combo, size and monogram make it oh-so-perfect for college game day and you can bet that I’ll be sporting this at tailgates soon. These bright red sneakers are from a brand called Bangs that donates 20% of profits to KIVA, who then donates a loan to small businesses every month. What’s better than shopping for a cause? Not only is the cause great, but they are so comfortable too. They come in an array of colors, but I thought the bright red would be a fun new addition to my closet!
