Happy Monday ya’ll! I’m exhausted
and recuperating from New York Fashion Week and let me tell you it was an
amazing time. I’ll be talking about the experience throughout the week, but
there is so much to cover! The whole event is surreal, so many fabulous,
beautiful people surround you, and there is literally always something going
on! I spent my week cramming in as much fashion week events as I could,
visiting my friends I had met over the summer and trying to go to all of my
favorite spots.

The first event I attended was
Eventsy’s Fashion Week Kick Off Party and The Delancey rooftop! It was a night
filled with vendors, previews and lots of mixing! Afterwards, my friend and I
went to one of my favorite nightspots in Meatpacking, Brass Monkey. The whole week
would go from fashion shows or events to hurrying off to a restaurant or store
that I just had to see again. Beware,
if you ever go to Fashion Week you need to buy a charging phone case, and bring
its charger and a regular phone charger with you everywhere. I was stuck in so
many events and parties with a phone that had 5% and no service! Definitely
learning from that mistake.

One of the outfits that I was able
to shoot in was this amazing black lace and tulle dress from Stella Rae’s. This
dress is the ultimate special occasion dress. It’s chic because it’s black and
will never go out of style. The ruffled lace skirt adds a playful element while
the lace paneling and open back adds a sassy and even sexy appeal. I love the
way it added the Carrie Bradshaw vibe, making it so appropriate for fashion
week!
