White in the Spring

Happy Tuesday y’all! I feel like I’m getting a late start to the week, but we’ve just begun our ‘dead week’ before finals beginning next Monday (SOS). It’s so hard to believe that this year is already almost over. When I say it’s been the best one yet, I truly mean it. This year has opened my eyes to so many different things; new friendships, new experiences and ultimately new expectations out of what I want in life. I’ve learned that it’s okay to be alone, it’s okay to have a glass of wine and it’s okay to be in your 20s with no clue about the future. Anyways, I’ll post later on about what my junior year taught me, but for now onto the outfit!
I’m so excited to be guest-hosting this weeks trend spin link up with Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels and Erin from The Fashion Canvas! For the trend spin we could wear anything white, and I chose this amazing crochet two piece set from Nordstrom! I’ve declared my love for two piece sets numerous times on the blog, but this one is actually my favorite. It’s perfect for spring, classic and trendy, plus it’ll never go out of style. It’s perfect for brunch or dinner in the spring, or with cowboy boots in the summer for a concert or football season. I paired it with my favorite chunky studded heels (which you probably recognize from previous posts, perfect heel height for my height), and of course turquoise accents. I wanted to do a bit of a layered look, so I paired a layered Bauble Bar necklace with my new go-to, this Nordstrom turquoise piece. Overall, this is one of my favorite looks to date!
