Happy Tuesday y’all! Today I’m sharing two of my favorite things for summer, denim and maxi dresses. I’m not sure if I’ve made it obvious, but I am completely obsessed with denim/chambray everything. I could easily go two weeks wearing only denim so when I found this denim maxi dress in Gap one day, I knew it had to be mine immediately. The amazing thing about it is that it’s extremely lightweight for a denim maxi dress. I wore it to work and walked all the way through Central Park to get to the East side from the West and was still alive afterwards (a surprise in this heat sometimes). It has a small hint of a high-low hem, and that may be because I’m super tall but the picture online shows it as well. The biggest thing that I love about denim is how well it goes with everything. You can pair it with simple gold details and wedges like I did, or accent with a pop of color (preferable pink) and still look just as cute!
I’m obsessed with collar and choker necklaces this summer. I’m still not able to bring myself to buy the coil ones for a throwback, but something like this gold collar necklace from Shop Prima Donna is the perfect mix of trendy and functional for me. If I adjust the length it turns into more of a normal necklace or choker! These wedges are easily my favorite pair of shoes I could possibly own. I wanted them back in February but they were back ordered until nearly July! Side note: they require a bit of breaking in at first so I suggest walking in them as much as possible (with band aids). I wore these all around the city but brought a pair of flip flops to change into whenever the blisters started to appear, but they’re too cute to pass up! What do y’all think?
