Today I’m finally getting around to sharing this much-loved dress from Instagram that I’ve been sharing sneak peaks of! This Skye On the Town “Cold Shoulder” dress is the perfect dress for any occasion. It’s lightweight and (on me) it’s short, so it’s still suitable on an extremely hot summer day. The shoulder cut outs help keep you cool and the fabric is extremely breathable. My favorite part is the ruffled detailing in the shoulders, it’s so unique! Skye on the Town has so many great summer options, but be sure to snag this dress before it’s sold out!
The fact that this dress is solid grey gives you plenty of opportunity to add a pop of color! I kept my accessories neutral when it came to my bag and wedges, but I added a pop of pink with my favorite tassel necklace and it was the perfect amount of color! This necklace has been on repeat since I got it in the spring, and now it’s available in coral and mint-how perfect?! These wedges are so comfortable for wedges and I love the unique laser cut out details. They come in tan, white, black and dark brown and I’m slowly easing my way towards the white and black! I’m so bad about shoes being comfortable and the best heel size for me (I’m 5’10) and I think these may just be my staple for going back to school. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, this bag is totally worth the splurge! I looked at the smaller size cross body, but it could barely fit my iPhone 6+! I opted for the bigger crossbody for a little bit more and definitely don’t regret it! When it comes to splurging on a nice handbag you definitely want something practical that you can use everyday. This one fits everything from my wallet to my camera!
