Happy Thursday y’all! Man am I ready for the weekend. Today I’m sharing a more simpler look, but a color I can’t get enough of, rust! I love cognac, rust and other shades of tan in the fall so when I found this lace rust colored shift dress I knew it would make the perfect addition to my closet. While it’s easily chic on it’s own, it would be great paired with a poncho over it or a fun printed cardigan to mix prints/textures. This basic shift dress is the perfect staple piece for every season, but I especially love how they look with booties in the fall or tights in the winter. One thing I love is that it matches my bag and booties so well! Who would’ve thought three pieces of the same color would come together so well?!

I have a few busy next weeks planned. I have all of my third round of tests over the next two weeks and we’re in the make-or-break, “crunch time,” of the semester. Not to mention we have a formal date party next weekend and that will affect the entire weekends plans! I’m hoping to stay sane through it all, but here’s hoping am I right? What do y’all think?
