Happy Friday y’all! Can we believe it’s already Friday?! I feel like it’s just Tuesday. I can’t believe my last semester of classes start on Monday! I can’t wait for my roommates and friends to trickle in this weekend and get ready for the best four months yet.

Today I’m doing something a little different than normal on Kayleigh’s Kloset, I’m sharing a look into my bedroom, specifically my blog working space in my room! My room is abnormally large for a college space. My two roommates and I live in an off-campus duplex, so technically it’s apartment style. Last year I lived in a garage apartment connected to a house down the street, but my room now is much bigger than my whole little shack to myself! In my room I have a queen size bed and large closet, two bookcases with my shoes (shout out to the closet at Cosmo for the idea!), a desk, a trunk and a rolling rack. My room is bright white so I wanted to keep it bright with lots of colors, specifically pink, gold, turquoise and yellow. I accent with tons of pink, as you can see, with pink curtains and different accessories. I always try to keep my rack filled with my newest additions to my Kloset. Whether it’s collaboration items or something I recently ordered I like to keep it separate so it doesn’t get lost in my closet (believe me it happens often).

One thing I take pride in is my gallery wall. Because I have so much space to cover up I have tons of prints. I love your typical Etsy inspirational quote in bright colors and fun sayings, but recently I’ve added pieces from Minted. Minted is an online art site that has so many options to choose from! One of my favorite parts is that you can get your frame sent to you framed, which for me is perfect because it’s such a pain to have to go to Walmart of Hobby Lobby to try and find a frame. My prints have tons of New York inspiration. My mom and I found a bunch that represented my summers in the city while walking through and around Central Park, my favorite being the bench right at the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge and a close second being a black and white print of the N/Q/R train, aka the one I always took to/from work! What do y’all think of my living space? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
