Happy Monday y’all! Well isn’t that an ironic statement… While I may not have school for another two weeks I have articles due for ASOS and lots to catch up on these next few days. I feel like I’ve been running around this whole break that I haven’t had much time to breathe! As soon as I got back from Mexico we left for Miami, and after Miami we headed to the apartment in downtown Houston. Last night a few friends and I grabbed drinks around midtown and plan to spend the day hitting up some sales and grabbing lunch together. It’s nice to be out of our suburb and doing something different, but even nicer to have a moment to relax and not have to be jetting off to another place! How was everyone’s New Years Eve?!

Today I’m sharing a more street style-esque look. One of my goals for 2016 is to step out of my comfort zone and try more different, edgier looks than my basic super flirty, feminine, colorful style. When I received these leather joggers from ASOS I knew that I wanted to do something unexpected, so I paired them with this large deep V sweater! The sweater is that varsity trend we saw quite a bit of last year and it’s honestly so comfortable. It’s perfect with a pair of pants just lounging, but I can’t wait to throw a leather pencil skirt underneath for when I have to brave the cold to go out once I’m back in Norman. These booties are also going to appear super frequently in the New Year. I can’t get enough of them and how their bold print adds the perfect pop to any look. I wore them at the Orange Bowl game and my feet didn’t die so they’re super comfy! The heel is chunkier, which I love, and they do need some breaking in but it doesn’t take long. I pair them with my pink sweaters and deep red dresses, basically anything and everything you could think of! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
