Happy Friday y’all! I hope everyone is ready for the weekend, I know I am! My mom is en route and I’m ready to spend the weekend running around the city with her. It’s so weird to think she won’t be moving me out like she usually does during the end of the summer. I think this in when it will really start to sink in that I live here!
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite beauty tricks for keeping my hair bright, shiny and blonde. I’m going on my third month in the city now and I have to say my roots are struggling. I’m naturally blonde but it’s definitely a darker blonde than I really am, and I’ve been coloring my hair for 9 years. In those 9 years I’ve been going back to my same go-to gal, Jennifer Saenz, and I absolutely refuse to try anyone else because she is such a pro! Fast forward to my third month in the city and my hair has started to look more ombre than blonde now with my roots being nearly two inches long! Since I can’t fly home to fix them and I don’t have anyone I would be willing to trust with my shade of blonde in the city, I turn to Back 2 Blonde’s root concealer spray to temporarily fix my roots and keep my hair looking fresh!
Back 2 Blonde is a temporary root concealer that instantly turns darker roots lighter, and the best part is that it washes out after one wash! I like to think of it as dry shampoo without the ashy look, mainly because I’ve been using dry shampoo to brighten my roots over the last month until I tested out Back 2 Blonde. The blonde looks natural and makes my hair look shiny, as opposed to dry shampoo or too much hairspray where it looks dull and crunchy. Back 2 Blonde comes in 3 easy to use shades, and I use a mix of the light and medium blonde to cover up my roots. It’s available at local drug stores like Walgreens (Duane Reade in my case), CVS and Rite Aid so you can access it anywhere! Ibotta App is currently offering $4 off of Back 2 Blonde, and you can also find more at Back2Blonde.com. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
This is a genius idea! I have my hair balayaged and this sounds like it would very helpful!
