Happy Friday y’all and happy weekend! I am so ready for this weekend filled with sleeping in and brunching after a super busy week. I’m definitely planning on doing some retail therapy this weekend, mainly since I feel like I haven’t had much time to think this week and I still have so many things to grab before work next week. Is it weird that I start work the same week that OU is starting school?! I’m still in such shock that the summer is over, Ellen and I were just discussing how crazy it is that it goes so fast!

Today I’m sharing the perfect little LBD for all of your weekend activities. Like I’ve talked about earlier this week, we’re in a heat wave in the city and the steamy humidity is nearly unbearable for long periods of time, so breezy little items in your closet are key. Cue this LBD: a little black dress with braided detailing. This breezy little dress is so perfect for everything from brunching to a night out. It’s lightweight and a comfortable cotton material, so it breathes in the heat and doesn’t cling to your skin. My favorite part about this dress si the braided strap that goes all around the rib cage, adding a subtle detail that is just irresistible in my opinion! Little black dresses are key for weekend outings, and I love how this one is extremely sassy with a lower cut neckline. I dressed it up with caged heels for Fri-yay vibes, but could easily pair it with espadrilles for a day time outing. I added my favorite turquoise choker for some color, but to go out not he weekends I would probably stick with the all black theme, mainly because that’s what I’ve realized is super trendy here.
