Happy Wednesday y’all! In just one short week I’ll be en route to Texas to spend the holidays with my family, and I just realized that I may be so used to this chilly weather that I don’t really know what to bring home. I know I need comfortable outfits for the long flight as always, deep hues for fall, but no scarves or boots even really because it’s still so warm in Houston. I wanted to round up some versatile ideas that I found online, all under $100, that are perfect for multiple occasions over the holiday weekend and if you’re headed home like I am.

If you’re headed up north, or really anywhere with a good breeze going on, then this is the choice for you. These under $100 jackets are so comfortable and will be great all season long. Scarves are your best friend when headed somewhere cold, especially if you aren’t used to the temperature being low. My favorite way to layer in the fall is a vest and you can’t go wrong with this under $55 puffer vest.

My thoughts on Thanksgiving always lean towards comfort. My family usually just celebrates small, so we’ve never dressed up in our holidays best. Cardigans, ponchos and sweaters are all great options to look presentable while remaining comfortable. You better believe I’ll be in leggings and a flannel this year to optimize belt room, haha!

If you’re headed home like me and plan to spend a few nights out with friends, then you’ll need some going out options. Luckily my parents and I tend to stay at their apartment downtown, so the night scene is a little more like New York is and I still have the opportunity to dress up. Since it’s warmer I can get away with sleeveless options and a lightweight jacket unlike this city, so I may pick up this two piece set while I’m at it. What do y’all think?
