Happy Friday y’all! Man am I glad the day is finally here. I’m hoping that the next seven days jet by because then I’ll be Mexico bound for the holidays! It was beyond freezing here yesterday and all I wanted to do was curl up and never leave my bed. It actually started snowing on the way to work, nuts right?! Today I’m so excited to be debuting my holiday apartment tour with PB Teen!

One thing that I was most excited about becoming an “adult,” and living by myself was getting to decorate however I wanted for the holidays. Since my couch (and most of my decor/accents) is pink, I knew that my holiday decor needed to be subtle enough to blend in but still be cute. I decided white and gold would be the optimal choice to match with everything and still remain festive. My larger pieces are white, my tree, my garland, my stockings, and then my accent pieces are gold, AKA the ornaments, stocking holders and candles. My gallery wall is even inspired by the image of my couch listed on their e-commerce website! With the help of PB Teen I completely revamped my apartment for the holidays.

My furry egg chair is such a statement piece in my room, and it’s one of the most talked about parts when people come over. I knew that a matching bean bag chair would optimize seating and lounge space, but still stick true to the aesthetic. This bean bag is huge! It’s such a fun addition to lounge in and I swear Ellen has fallen asleep on it the last three weekends. It’s so cozy, especially now that it’s so cold outside, and it fits perfectly next to my couch. One thing I’m most excited about is my new furry lap desk. I don’t have a desk in my apartment because I opted for a vanity inside, and I never realized how hard it would be to sit down and get work done without a desk. Cue this cute lap desk, it makes it so easy to lay on the couch, bean bag or even on the floor and get work done on my laptop. I’m so used to my laptop overheating and getting hot on my legs, so this desk keeps it from doing just that AND it has a little sliding storage space for anything I need. These cozy slippers make such a fun addition, and I always have to have some kind of slipper to walk around my apartment. They come in so many different colors, and I definitely recommend sizing up!

I thought I loved my living room already, but by adding the bean bag and making a few small updates I’ve fallen in love with it even more.
