Happy Wednesday y’all! I swear I woke up and thought it was Thursday already, one of those weeks am I right?! The city decided to melt all of its snow and now it’s just this awkward gross slush everywhere. I feel like I invested in all of the wrong cold weather gear because I definitely wasn’t prepared for all of this!! I am looking forward to a three day weekend though, so hopefully I’ll head to soho and put some Christmas gift cards to use.

Today I’m sharing a cozy look for winter in this grey sweater dress. When it comes to having to stay warm in a place like NYC during the winter, my obvious go-to is a turtleneck sweater. However sometimes my day to day work life requires me to be a little more presentable than just a sweater and jeans, insert the sweater dress. It’s warm and cozy just like a sweater, as I’m sure we all can attest for, but it looks a little more chic when it’s a dress. Easily paired with tights, vests and OTK boots for layering and added warmth this grey sweater dress is my personal favorite. It’s neutral, so adding a pop of color like red just gives it that extra oomph it needs. Full disclosure: I’m nearly 5’10 and have an extra long torso, so the majority of things are small on me and this dress was no exception. Pairing it with tights would have been the logical answer but I chose to embrace it as that’s something I’m trying to do this year instead of hiding insecurities. What do y’all think?
