Happy Tuesday y’all! When it comes to fall, I picture drearier days in the city much like today. One thing I love to counter that with is bright, bold colors/prints in the fall on days like today. A great spot to find bright/bold patterns? Enter: Blue & Cream. Blue and Cream has high-end everything you could imagine, from basics/staple pieces to special occasion items. From blush pink cardigans to bold, printed sweatshirts, Blue and Cream has you covered for fall. Be sure to stop by and check out their best sellers!
I swear every time it’s been rainy weather recently I’ve been forgetting my umbrella at home! I need to get better about checking my weather app but #adulting am I right?! In other news, I updated my widgets on my sidebar and home page last night! There are so many affordable, cozy fall items out right now so I linked all of those within those widgets. I’m really going to try and put more of an effort into my blog from here on out. At work we just wrapped up holiday launches and we have a bit of a lull before we start the first half of 2018 launches, especially with the different holiday breaks. I’m hoping to be fully invested in the seasonal/holiday posts for the remainder of the year and I shot some great fall home content that I can’t wait to share soon!
When it comes to fall, it’s typical to gravitate toward the browns and blacks in literally everything, but one thing I’ve been big on is finding ways to work color into my fall wardrobe. Stepping out of the box, especially living in NYC where black is everyone’s staple color, this ruffled floral print dress is the perfect way to do just that. It’s a striking blue with pops of yellow and orange, but the black and deep navy in it make it perfect for fall. It’s the perfect length for work, and the ruffled skirt makes it so much fun. I paired it with this pair thigh high boots squished down a bit. These boots are great if you’re wanting something a little bit edgier, but I will admit that they aren’t exactly the easiest to get on and I frequently snag myself in the process, but what can ya do? These dark aviator sunnies have recently become my new favorites because they’re oversized and super polarized. They’re also $60, and I tend to lose sunnies all of the time so this is a pair I could easily reinvest in should they go missing. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
