Happy Friday y’all! What a TGIF it is indeed. This is the first weekend that my plans are up in the air. I just realized I’m shooting on super bowl Sunday, clearly I’m so invested in football haha. But I’ve spent this whole week getting up early and bracing the 19 degree weather to bring a bunch of exciting new content here! It’s hard when everyone is getting geared up for spring and our weather can’t decide whether it wants to snow or not! Nevertheless, I got some spring-ish outfits shot while it was still warm outside one random weekend!
Today I’m sharing a super simple, but super feminine look. One silhouette that will always be my favorite is the silhouette of a swing dress. Something about being as tall as I am just makes me love the flow of swing dresses (as opposed to a shift or body on dress). This navy pleated swing dress will be perfect year round. I typically stay away from navy unless it’s jeans, so it’s a little out of the box for me but when I saw how cute the pleats were I knew I needed it. To make it a little bit different from every dress I wear in the winter, I paired it with a large statement necklace and my go-to snakeskin booties that I’ve had for years. I realized that I haven’t been accessorizing like I used to, and this necklace makes the perfect addition. It’s a statement piece for sure, but the clear beads keep it neutral and as simple as can be. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
