Happy Tuesday y’all! It’s going to be a packed week here with things heating up at work for busy season, but I’m trying to keep my head above water and plan out my content accordingly because I have so much fun stuff to share on here!

One of the new things I want to start doing is a monthly round-up of my favorite beauty products. Since I work in beauty I’m constantly stalking different trends in the industry, which works swimmingly with blogging because beauty PR mailers are so frequent. This post will never be influenced or sponsored, and will be a genuine review of 3-5 items I’ve tried and loved for the month. Would love to hear what y’all think of this sort of post! Below you’ll find three of my favorite beauty products that I tried and fell in love with during the month of April!

1. Essence Lash Princess False Lash Mascara. I’m a tried-and-true mascara lover and having been using the same kind for years until my mom got me this kind for Christmas. I lost it (shocker) and found it recently and now it’s my favorite mascara! It really makes you look like you’re wearing false eyelashes and I have been wearing it without any other makeup on the weekends recently. It’s also so affordable, costing under $5!

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo. Similar to mascara, I am a die-hard dry shampoo supporter. I’ve been using Dove Dry Shampoo for ages, but I’ve recently started using Batiste and I finally see what the hype is all about. I use it on the weekends and it makes my hair look blonder, and lasts for days. I’m trying to wash my hair less because it really does force your color to fade, and I think I’ve found my holy-grail to help out.

3. Freeman Beauty Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask. So this one I did receive in a PR package and was pumped about. During the warmer months, my skin is prone to breakouts especially around my arms and chest. This scrub will be my beauty-secret-weapon throughout the summer. I used it once and instantly saw a difference in my skin. It unclogs pores, and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. It does kind of get your bathtub dirty if you don’t rinse off the areas, but it’s definitely something worth trying!

Have a great day and thanks for reading!
