Happy Tuesday y’all! It’s an exciting week because Labor Day Weekend brings Electric Zoo Music Festival here in New York, and I couldn’t be more excited to make it through the week and head to a weekend filled with music. For me, I get so hyped on picking out my different looks for music festivals from outfits, to fun hair and make-up. This time is definitely no exception! One thing I’ve really tried to put more effort in during concerts/music festivals this summer has definitely been my hairstyles.
Today I’m teaming up with Bed Head to test out my festival hair look for the weekend with their styling products! One hairstyle I’ve definitely utilized this summer has been the twist on pig tails where they look like bubbles. Because I like to keep my hair down, I chose to do half up/half down bubble ponies, with soft + loose curls using the Bed Head® Curlipops™ 1 1/24″ Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Iron. I love how easy this curling iron curls my hair! Since my hair has been getting longer, I’ve been looking for ways to get the looser waves as opposed to super tight curls. This curling wand is all you need to create loose, all-over waves and long-lasting volume. High Heat up to 400° F quickly locks in the curl, while Tourmaline Ceramic reduce frizz and lock in shine for amazing body that will last day and night. Steps to re-create this look are below:
1. Simply seperate your hair into three sections, and curl at about one inch thickness for 10 seconds on the heat.
2. Once your hair is completely curled, pull two sections back and secure with a clear elastic.
3. Taking elastics, tie them into the sectioned off ponies at about 1.5 inches and pull the hair through as if you were tightening it
Voila! A super simple and easy hairstyle look foe festival season. For added elements, you could incorporate glitter onto your part for true festival vibes – as I may be doing this weekend. This curling iron is now available at Ulta in stores and online! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
