Happy Thursday y’all! Is anyone getting as excited for the long weekend as I am?! I’m ready to be on a beach but I feel like I keep saying that. Today I wanted to round up some of my favorite beauty products that are absolutely worth the hype. When I went home in April I convinced my mom to take me to ULTA & Sephora where I went on a beauty bender one would say. I stocked up on items I had been eyeing, items I had been seeing in beauty round ups at work, and brands that I know have cult followings to really try these for myself.
I love trying out new products, but since I work in beauty I typically find myself in a standard routine only using items from brands I have access to. My skincare routine is also super particular since I had acne growing up and it took a long time to get it under control, so I’m hesitant to try anything crazy or “trendy” solely because I don’t want it to cause a breakout. I’m also really weird about the texture of products and how they feel once you put them on, so things like oils aren’t this gals go-to.
Regardless, I branched out to try new products that I definitely haven’t regretted. I’m rounding up my favorite items below that are absolutely worth every penny. These are beauty products that will last you awhile and really stretch your dollar as most are 2x a week only. Do you have any products you’re currently loving, or brands I should try next?! I definitely want to branch out and try more Drunk Elephant products, and I also have Tatcha on my list of beauty try’s for summer! Have a great day and thanks for reading!
1. Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. I already professed my love for this once a week exfoliating mask, but I seriously can’t stress enough how amazing it is! It exfoliated your skin, leaving it silky smooth and glowing after just 20 minutes.
2. Milk Makeup Hydrogrip Primer. Another fan favorite, this primer really grips to your face like it says it does. It’s calming with my redness and helps my makeup last all day. It’s perfect if you have a late-afternoon meeting and need your makeup to really last.
3. Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleep Mask. I recently started trying this 2x a week sleep mask and love it. It’s a sweet watermelon mask designed to hydrate. A little goes a long way here, and my skin reacts better to a thinner layer.
4. First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I love any sort of face wipe because I can get so lazy when it comes to taking off my makeup and I’ve been loving these Facial Radiance Pads from First Aid Beauty! My skin feels super clean after I use these, and it feels as though I fully washed my face.
