My Actual Skincare Routine

Happy Monday y’all! One of my favorite things to do is try beauty products and I absolutely love getting my hands on anything new. I’m such a skincare aficionado and love sharing everything with y’all!

Recently, I’ve been getting questions pertaining to my actual skincare routine, and that right there kind of tripped me up. I finally realized that my skincare routine isn’t exactly the same every single day, but that it’s always changing based on what’s coming out and what people suggest/the internet influences.

Today I wanted to round up in detail all of the skincare items I use weekly and what I use them for. Let me know if you have any questions about specific products, happy to help! You can SHOP each item directly by hovering over the product name for the link, or by clicking in the widget below! Have a great day and thanks for reading!

My Current Quarantine Skincare Routine:
Morning:
Tone with Thayers Witch Hazel Toner. My skin is clean in the morning these days so I’ve been going without cleansing completely.

Apply Cle De Peau Beauté Essential Refining Essence so my products seep into my skin.

Apply Skin Ceuticals CE Ferulic and let dry.

Finish with Tatcha The Stick Serum and Tatcha Eye Creme.

Roll with an Amazon Ice Roller once I get downstairs to de-puff.

Evening:
Cleanse with TULA’s Cult Cleanser (15% off with KAYLEIGHSKLOSET).

Tone with Pixi Glow Tonic or ARCONA Triad Pads.

Apply Cle De Peau Beauté Essential Refining Essence so my products seep into my skin.

Drunk Elephant Glycolic Serum that’s a nightly treatment (I use every night pending how often I’ll be in the sun). Roll into face with my Kitsch Micro Derma Roller.

Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules for an easy application retinol that doesn’t make me drastically peel.

Tatcha Dewy Skin Creme or Laneige Lavender Sleep Mask to moisturize.

Kate Somerville Retinol Firming Eye Cream before calling it a night!

An All-Encompassing List of Every Item I Use, How Often, etc.:
Products I Love for Daily Use:
Tools: A key factor in figuring out your skincare routine is first figuring out tools that work for, well, your skin. For instance, I’ve been using a Clarasonic since high school and can thank my clearer complexion to the device. As I’ve gotten older and acne has become less of a main focus, I’ve switched to items that help depuff, enhance serums, and so forth.

Clarasonic Mia
Kitsch Micro Derma Roller
Amazon Ice Roller
Gua Sha

Pre-Cleansers: One days where I shoot blog pictures or wear a good amount of makeup, I’ll need to pre-cleanse prior to washing my face. These are essentially good-for-you makeup removers that have better ingredients to work for your skin.

Tatcha Camellia Oil Cleanser
Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse Cleansing Oil

Cleansers: The type of cleanser I use definitely depends on what level of breakouts I’m experiencing. I’ll typically stick to TULA for a first-round-cleanse and follow with either another cleanser to help clear breakouts or move on with my routine.
